Het WK van 2002 was er eentje met 'verdachte' wedstrijden. Begin er maar niet over tegen de Italianen, die worden nu nog gek van de wedstrijd tegen 'thuisclub' Zuid-Korea. Zuid-Korea moest en zou zijn 7 wedstrijden krijgen (dus altijd naar halve finale). Die Wilmots kan ik me nog herinneren. De journalist die hem interviewde werd bijkans kwaad op Wilmots. 'Waarom zeg je dan niets?', vroeg hij aan Marc. 'Ja, wat moet ik dan. Hij keurt hem af'.

Un goal volé! Absolument du vol! Mais y'a un truc que je n'apprécie pas trop chez Wilmots, c'est qu'il s'est dit trop vite que c'est foutu. Ca montre pas mal de négativité pour devenir un coach, et pas suffisamment d'ambition comme les diables le sont aujourd'hui! On le voyait en 2014 et en 2016, pas assez d'ambition... On peut dire ce qu'on veut de l'assistance vidéo, de ses limites et des erreurs qui existent toujours, il n'en reste pas moins que le nombre d'injustices est nettement moins important. Nul doute que s'il y avait eu le VAR à cette époque, les Belges auraient pesté et le goal aurait été validé. A ceux qui refusent catégoriquement la vidéo, préférez donc les injustices et arbitrages partiaux, c'est clairement plus dans l'esprit du sport, n'est-ce pas? ...
apres le VAR est pas parfait je trouve que parfois il y a encore des decisions assez discutables avec le var , mais c'est vrai que ca a deja pas mal reduit les injustices
